Our friend was driving from San Diego to Utah to spend Christmas with us and was in a serious auto accident. When we arrived in the TICU Unit he was in critical condition with injuries to his neck, back head, and spinal cord. Communicating these injuries and potentially life-altering consequences cannot be easy. Our friend is very active and healthy, and although we won't know for awhile, this may be devastating, luckily, he will survive.
Tim was incredibly attentive and spoke very kindly, thoroughly and plainly. He spent so much time and effort with our friend and us monitoring, discussing changes in condition, explaining next steps, having us meet with a social worker, doctors etc. My husband and I both work for a hospital system in Utah and fully understand the need for compassion and respect as healing commences.
Tim absolutely performed every aspect of health care above and beyond and we are very grateful for the information and comfort he provided to all of us.
