I have had the honor of working with Cindy for the past 9 years, and what a pleasure it has been. Her co-workers would agree that her positivity and level of professionalism go without saying, she is the definition of compassion. Every day Cindy comes to work with a smile and a "good morning", it is a given that I look forward to.
Her knowledge base and her continued desire to learn has made her an excellent mentor to so many nurses, inspiring them to excel to be the best at their job.
When we all think about who we would want to take care of a family member, Cindy's name comes to mind. Her ability to put her patient's mind at ease comes from the level of competence and positive energy she gives not only to her patients but also to their families.
