There is not one specific event that makes us want to nominate Beth for the DAISY Award. What impresses us is how she treats my husband, myself, and our family with such compassion and sincere concern. Whatever the circumstance, she goes above and beyond in making appointments and providing us with the best care she knows of. She is never too busy to take our calls or call us back if she's busy. She takes time to answer questions and discuss any problems we might be having. She is dedicated to her job and her patients. She is a special nurse and friend, we love her. I trust Beth and her advice and feel whatever we share with her is kept in confidence. She is working hard to become an RN and I admire her for that.

I'm 72 years old and have had lots of experiences with the nursing profession. When I go to the doctor's for an appointment, Beth takes me in the back and takes my vitals. As she is doing this, she is talking to me and cheering me up with her great bedside manner. She has such a great sense of humor along with her professional training. She has me laughing in a couple of minutes and I almost wonder why I'm at the doctor's office. In all my years I have never had this kind of reassuring experience at a doctor's office. Some people are given the same gifts in life, but Beth works her gift to the maximum. I'm not even sure what the DAISY Award entails but any award that would recognize Beth for her service to the nursing profession is one she most assuredly deserves.
