Erika Posey has worked as a nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit at St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett for the past two years. She was selected as a DAISY Award recipient based on a nomination from a patient's spouse as well as staff members.
"My wife and I were adopting a newborn delivered at St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett. From the minute Erika walked into the room she blew us away. Erika immediately accommodated the birth mother and her family and set up a room for my wife and me. My wife and I have discussed all the wonderful ways Erika made this into a perfect day. If it wasn't for her, our experience, as well as that of the birth mother, may have been different. We are very appreciative of all Erika did for us on our special day."
