T.J. Lokke goes above and beyond for every one of his patients. A patient was scheduled to have an open-heart surgery the next day. While T.J. was interviewing the patient regarding her health history, he noticed that one of her hands was red and swollen. He explained to the patient that having an infection would be a reason for the surgeon to cancel her surgery. T.J. called the surgeon immediately and the surgery was canceled. The patient was taken to the emergency room for immediate treatment. Later, when T.J. called up to the operating room, he was told he had called just in time as they were getting ready to pull the supplies for the next day's surgery. T.J. not only saved the hospital thousands of dollars, he may have saved a patient's life.
