Beth is a strong leader, her presence and involvement in the unit are evident through change practices and continuous improvement. She collaborates with the interprofessional team and makes process changes as needed. Beth upholds the standards of behavior; she is committed to her team and consistently rounds with our families. She is a strong leader who works to ensure we provide the safest and highest quality care.
***
When meeting with Beth she gives you her full attention. She is both, kind and professional at the same time. She asks great questions and works to understand, never judging or over-reacting. It is clear that she holds herself to the same if not higher standard than she expects of others.
***
Beth is truly a standout leader. As an aspiring leader myself, she is the role model that I look to, I know that many others feel this way too. She is fair to all and very effective. We are lucky to have Beth on the Nemours team!
***
Beth is a coach, teacher, and mentor. She provides her team with opportunities for growth and has implemented engagement efforts throughout the year. Beth led the development of a themed patio series over the summer where the entire team was encouraged to step away from the NICU's high-stress practice environment and wind down for a brief moment of their day.
***
Beth has been an awesome leader during a very stressful transition time for the NICU. She is overseeing a unit that is separated geographically, designing a new space, starting a delivery center and onboarding LOTS of new nurses! She is leading with a lot of grace and thoughtfulness. Her role is a thankless job! I think it is important that she receive the recognition that she deserves!
