I love having Peggy as my nurse because she teaches me all about my dialysis machine. Peggy makes me laugh every time I see her, and she always takes the best care of me. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
***
Peggy has a passion for education and writing. She has assisted with the development of our unit's formal plan for transitioning patients to adult care. She also undertook the literature review for the complex practice guideline for PET (peritoneal equilibrium testing) and has been its champion. Peggy will teach anyone willing to stop and learn about the very specialized dialysis world.
Peggy's strongest area is her willingness to go the extra mile for our dialysis kids. She searches out solutions to their individual problems and needs and finds resources to help them whenever possible. We are proud to have her on our team.
