I spent over half of the month as a patient on 4 West. I was blessed to have Heidi as my nurse each time. (I was admitted on 3 separate dates.) Not only was Heidi the charge nurse, but she was also assigned patients. During my last stay, I became very depressed and cried the majority of my stay. Heidi went out of her way to check on me often and made sure I was okay. If I needed assistance, she was there. If I needed my pain meds, she was there. If I needed just a short pep talk, Heidi was #1! I know that her workload was maxed out, but not one time did her passion waive. I relied on Heidi for not only medical support but emotional support. She provided soft kind words, along with all the medical knowledge I requested. There were times that I asked the same questions over and over and she just took it all in stride. A Healer's Touch and Heidi are one and the same. Thank you.
