Jen shows commitment to the nursing profession in her patience and willingness to teach new and experienced nurses alike. She helps determine best practices whenever there is a question. She reviews policies that pertain to all questions; not only with the nurse who elicited the question but with all staff.
Jen's compassion for all patients, families, and staff members is exhibited daily. She cares about her co-workers' lives and families. Jen remembers special events and circumstances to offer words of encouragement. Her accountability is without question. She exhibits a positive attitude and can always be found assisting others.
Jen advocates for patients' needs while remaining respectful of all involved. This has been demonstrated various times both during a rapid response and at while assisting to prevent a rapid response. She arrives to work early every shift and is ready to start on time with a positive attitude. She's even punched in early to assist during times of crisis. This very skilled nurse goes above and beyond every shift to ensure patients are safe, family member needs are met, and no staff member is left behind. We are very fortunate to have Jen with us.
