My husband had to have his first infusion of a new chemo which required him to stay in the hospital for the day. His daily nurse was Katelynn Kenny and she was the best nurse he has ever had. She explained everything about the new chemo in detail and explained everything as she was doing it. You could tell that her job was a priority when she was there. Not only did she stay in the room with us, hoping there were no side effects, but she was also charge nurse. Her responsibilities were overwhelming to us, but she handled them in stride and did not stress out. She couldn't do enough to keep us comfortable as we were there for 14 hours. She did not go home at the end of her shift and when I asked why she said, "because I have a conscious". Kudos to her for her work ethic.
