Every Christmas season, Jill brings her family to the hospital on Christmas Eve night. Jill dresses up as Santa, and her family as Elves. They distribute toys and gifts to our inpatient Pediatric patients. They also make coffee, hot chocolate, homemade cookies and treats, and take a cart of those goodies around all of the units for our Pediatrics staff. Jill really helps to make Christmas special for our patients and families, and also makes the night brighter for the staff who are working and are unable to be their families on this night. As one of our Pediatric Hem/Onc nurses, Jill displays exemplary patient and family-centered care; at Christmas time, she brings extra joy to the patients and to our staff. Thank you, Jill, for making the spirit bright at work during the holiday season. I appreciate you, and I know the rest of the staff do as well.
