I had to bring my mother to the Emergency Room on Christmas Eve. Kirstin was our nurse and we could not have gotten any luckier. She immediately put my mother at ease and started answering all of her questions. Kirstin's personality was amazing and she took our mind off my mother's condition and actually made us laugh. She took her time, looked my mother in the face to talk and answer her questions, and then would even ask if I had needed anything or had any questions. At shift change, my mother was afraid she wouldn't see Kirstin again, but before going home Kirstin came in, sat on my mother's bed and held her hand while explaining exactly how the next nurse would admit her and what we were to expect. Being in the hospital on Christmas Eve is stressful enough but Kirstin made the whole experience enjoyable and easier for us. I am so grateful for Kirstin and the care she showed to my mother. StoneCrest is very fortunate to have an employee and nurse of Kirstin's caliber. What a Christmas Blessing!
