You can tell that being a nurse is not just a job for Heidi, it is her way of life. Her years of experience in the NICU really shine through while she cares for her patients. We would frequently find Heidi leaning over his crib, holding his hand, smiling and talking to him in a gentle voice. What a heartwarming sight to see! Heidi was the 'shining star' of our NICU team.
