Janelynn went above and beyond in every way in the care for my father and our family. She was not only his nurse but an advocate. She clearly and concisely explained the health situation each day. She coordinated with our local doctors, medical equipment companies, and changed appointments with dialysis centers (things typically done by caseworker). Her caring but quiet and extremely capable thinking made these last few days so much less stressful and I believe helped put my dad at ease so he could heal. For me, I can confidently travel home with him since Janelynn helped us focus on ensuring he was healthy enough. She's absolutely amazing!

Janelynn can be seen on many units, and fortunately for all of them she does not discriminate-she is equally as valuable in one area as she is in another! This has been confirmed many times over by staff and leadership in each area. Just recently, she was recognized by the 1W staff for how smoothly she worked and how well she fit in on their unit, even though she doesn't generally work on a med/surg unit. She can also be seen in the ED (maybe in charge) in CCU and on Maternity and Pediatrics. She is a wealth of knowledge and is often mentoring other staff during her shift.
Janelynn is a case manager, an advocate, a teacher and an empathetic support person for her patients and their families. She is one of the most safety conscious people I know, and she prides herself in the kind of care she provides.
