Nurse Sylvia Taylor has been extremely enjoyable to work with. I encountered her when my interest in robotic surgery began. She serves as the hospital's robotic coordinator and has served competently. She interacts well with others and is very respectful of those around her. She has the ability to make one feel comfortable yet express her ideas and views even when they may not be popular. Her pleasant demeanor only adds to her charm. Her co-workers respect and value her. She is a good teacher to new trainees. Many times she pitches in wherever needed for example I have seen her run the board, circulate, and problem solve with equipment issues. I feel she well embodies the balance of personality and knowledge to be an excellent nurse.

Sylvia is truly an asset to this OR. She always goes above and beyond for not only her fellow co-workers but the surgeons and patients here at TWHT. She is constantly in all the robotic rooms and ensuring that everything is running smoothly. She doesn't complain and is always willing to help. She brightens a room whenever she is in it, and she is the definition of team player.
