Barb has had a lengthy career as a labor and delivery nurse at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital and has gained so much respect from her colleagues and patients through the excellent nursing care that she has delivered for so many years. During the Award ceremony, where so many friends, patients, and coworkers came to share their stories and to celebrate Barb's recognition, her husband said a few words, including, "all over town, no matter where we go, women come up to Barb and say, 'Oh! You were my nurse and you were so great!'" A colleague shared, "It didn't matter if you were a patient or a doctor, you wanted Barb on your team."
Barb not only helps deliver babies for Bozeman Health, she is also a mentor and clinical instructor at MSU, sharing her expertise to ensure that generations of nurses are trained and ready for the field.
