My father says Sandra has a "significant presence, is a wonderful leader". Sandra has a regimen in delivering patient care that exudes compassion and goodwill. She communicates with kindness in what she is doing step-by-step. Two special incidents come to mind:
1) My father kept complaining of being cold and requested warm blankets repeatedly, instead Sandra checked his temperature and discovered he had a fever and administered Tylenol instead of another blanket.
2) My father wears dentures and cannot swallow pills so they must be crushed with apple sauce. After taking the pills she would have my father rinse his mouth twice. These small things brought extra comfort to my father.
Sandra took care of him as if he were her own.
