As soon as Rebekah entered my room, I felt at ease from her competent and compassionate demeanor.
My day team was incredible, but it can always be a little nerve-racking during the transition of care and wondering what your "new" nurse was going to be like. All of this was alleviated when Rebekah introduced herself and shared with me her "plan of action" for my evening. She is very kind as well as confident, but not in an intimidating way. She was very open to communication and we collaborated on how best to meet my needs after she gave me the opportunity to express them.
I have spent many long nights in the hospital throughout the last several years and it was an amazing day.
I have been a night shift Med/Surg nurse as well and know and know how difficult it can be. Rebekah is a nurse I would like to emulate. She helped me feel a part of the solution by listening to me and program solving with me.
Thank you again for all you do.
