By the time we got D to go to the hospital, he was very dehydrated, and his stomach was very bloated. He was extremely weak. He was placed in a room on the second floor. His nurse was Logan Spivey. From the very first day, Logan was there to answer all questions, it was the way he took time to answer questions and make suggestions on how to make D more comfortable.
Logan helped with lining up meds, being careful with putting in IV's, planning with Hospice, calling anyone that he thought could help D. He was friendly and stayed with D when D found out he had cancer. I was not allowed in D's room at that time. He spoke of his family and where he lived just so he could keep D from thinking of his own problems.
Logan is kind, compassionate, and loves what he does for a living. Although he has seen the same problems that people have over and over, he makes you feel like your case is special to him.
