Our crew that I've worked with in the critical care unit have been doing amazing going above and beyond working extremely hard all night; there's very little downtime, the shifts are long and both physically and mentally taxing. They have all stepped up and gone far and beyond just doing what they've been assigned, especially Lori Moore!
She has been amazing and continues to surprise me with her level of commitment and patient care. All of these patients are high-level maintenance and require a lot and truly they really deserve one-on-one care. Lori has had no less than 2 critical patients on my shifts, and they've been split at opposite sides of the ICU making it that much more demanding at times. She has been my battle buddy and we've motivated each other through our shifts.
Lori is an amazing asset to our care team and her attitude has been nothing but inspiring to me and those she works with.
Note: This is Lori's 2nd DAISY Award!
