Lara was the nurse assigned to care for our mother on the evening she passed away. We cannot imagine someone more caring, nurturing, professional, dedicated and simply lovely to our mother and our family than her. She took great care to support our mother's needs, working very hard while we were still attempting to restore her health, ministering to us as we approached the difficult decision point when we decided we needed to let our mother go, and then transitioning gracefully to providing her comfort until her last breath. She will always remain an important figure in our memories of that challenging yet beautiful evening when our family was able to gather around our mother and say one last farewell. Please convey our deep appreciation as well to the other staff of our mother's support team. Above all, please know that we will never be able to thank Lara enough for her skill and loving care in supporting our mother and our family.
