All the nurses were very helpful, but Gerry was exceptional. He was always cheerful and empathetic, and his follow-through skills were extraordinary. He went as they say, above and beyond the call of duty, again and again, to make me comfortable and address all my concerns.

Gerardo Yabut stands out, not so much for one specific incident, but for his consistent professionalism, his unfailingly positive attitude, and his acceptance of a leadership role in the department. If he is asked for assistance by a colleague, patient or relative, he responds quickly, patiently and knowledgeably. "Ask Gerry" can often be heard when an unexpected problem or question arises.
