Samone took the time out numerous times to ask me how I was feeling, how my care was going if I had any concerns, and if I needed anything as small as ice. Not all nurses care to check on the small things and almost always tell me to get the CNA. Not her, she specifically made my stay more enjoyable and felt like my care here at the hospital REALLY mattered. Thank you, Samone.

I cannot thank Samone enough for her caring, kindness, and humor during a night I shall never forget. I was recovering from a stomach operation that had taken place on Sunday. However, something wasn't right. The liquid coming from my drain was not clear and I was scheduled for a second surgery on Wednesday. Samone was my savior on Tuesday night. I was so sick. My nausea was terrible. I wanted to gag and vomit constantly. I was scheduled to receive anti-nausea meds in my IV, but the time between doses was too long and was not controlling it. Samone came to my room and spent time with me as often as she could. Just to talk and assure me that as soon as she could, she would administer my drug. Just having her there with me was such a relief. She joked with me about my 3-day diet of ice chips and said she was going to get me some steak shaped strawberry jello jigglers. She was my lifesaver that night. I can't thank her enough for being there for me when I needed someone. I still get teary-eyed when I talk to anyone about that night. Samone was my angel!

Ms. Samone is a very wonderful asset to the hospital. It's not my first stay here, and every time she has been assigned to my care, she has made me feel like family. She has gone far beyond her duties on several occasions.

She is a very warm, pleasant soul who genuinely cares for her patients. She comes to work, not only to do her job but also to put smiles on faces and warm hearts. She is a wonderful nurse and an even better person.
