Our son had emergency surgery and he was released from the hospital three days later.
Eleven days after we arrived home was Fatima's first day at our house. We expected her at 12:30 pm. Our son was to be showered and dressed by that time. When Fatima arrived we were in the bathroom finishing up dressing him. He was sitting on a closed toilet as Fatima and I finished dressing him.
Suddenly he veered off to his right toward the wall - on the side Fatima stood. Fatima caught him so that his head did not hit the wall hard and took charge. Unknown to my husband and me, our son was having a seizure - something we knew nothing of. Fatima kept talking to him asking him to open his eyes and talk to us while I was dialing 9-1-1 on her cell phone.
We were so thankful that Fatima was there to take charge, helping to calm us. She continued throughout until he was completely healed the next month. In that interim, she was always helpful and encouraging to me and built up a good rapport with our son. She was very helpful, and we are thankful for her patience and instruction.
