We recently had a 92-year-old patient on our floor. This gentleman loved the outdoors. He stated on several occasions that he missed being outside. He missed seeing the ducks out on the pond at his home. Hailey Moran, RN, took the time, on one of her busiest days, to take this patient out to the bridge to look at the river that runs beside our hospital. This patient was on a cardiac monitor which means that Hailey had to closely monitor him while they were out of the facility. This really made the patient's day. Thanks, Hailey!
