Alyssa provided excellent care to our son. She has a wonderful bedside manner. She was very detail-oriented and knew how to multitask well. She wiped everything in our son's room down with Cavi wipes and impressed us with her detail to hygiene. She was very kind and positive in her approach to the patient and he really liked her. We were thoroughly impressed with Alyssa and any patient who gets her as their nurse is in good hands!

Alyssa welcomed us to the unit after midnight when we were tired and overwhelmed. She oriented us to the unit and hospital, making sure we were comfortable with this new environment. She exhibited family-centered care by making sure we were included in nurse and doctor rounds and knew we were welcome and our input was important. She displayed critical thinking during the early hours of our stay. She was compassionate as she saw to the care of our son and us, the parents. She made us feel like we were in the best place and receiving the best possible care for our son. She was a leader as she assisted a nurse resident in the care of our son. It was a real comfort and pleasure to have her as our nurse.
