Our son, N, had a resection of a brain tumor in June. He was very agitated and afraid. Tiara Dalton remained calm, distracted him from his fears and focused on his comfort. She had to come in every hour to do neuro checks and vitals but tried to be as gentle and unobtrusive as possible. She was mindful of the needs of N, but also of our needs as parents who were exhausted and stressed out.
Tiara was always pleasant, and we never felt that she was rushed. She always seemed to have time for N and us. She was confident in her own skills which instilled confidence in us. She frequently complimented CHOP as an employer and is thankful that she has the opportunity to work here. We've been admitted to CHOP at least 15 times and Tiara is at the top of our list of CHOP nurses.
