Jodi LeSac is an outstanding nurse and a true asset to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the MACC Fund Center - Inpatient Unit. Her dedication and professionalism are inspiring, and the pride she shows in her work is second to none. Jodi continually goes above and beyond for her patients and their families, often staying after her shift to tie up loose ends to make sure everything is in order before she leaves.
Jodi is a dedicated, passionate nurse who exemplifies the core values one would expect from a pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Jodi's hard work and dedication were put on display recently when she noticed that one of her patients was getting assigned several different nurses during their long hospital stay.
Jodi recognized that the patient, and his family, would greatly benefit from consistent nursing care. Jodi went above and beyond by e-mailing the unit's nursing staff, asking them to consider signing up to be a consistent caregiver so that this patient would get the best possible care for the remainder of their stay.
Situations like this are what separates Jodi from the rest. Her years of experience allows her to see the big picture and makes her a true advocate for her patients. Jodi's positive "can do" attitude is contagious and is a great example of what nursing care should be at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She greets each shift with a smile and never lets the stress of a busy day get to her. She is always on task, providing the best and safest care for our patients. It's an honor to work with such a passionate and highly skilled nurse like Jodi, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is incredibly lucky to have her.
