Devon Newton, when assigned to the CICU prepares patients for procedures in the Cath Lab. Devon is kind, patient, organized, flexible and extremely proficient with her assessment skills. Devon consistently collaborates with other team members. She can anticipate and will prioritize issues to prevent any delay in a patient's start time or discharge post procedure. She will communicate her concerns to the staff and physicians.
Devon is compassionate and respectful to our patients and their family members. Devon educates patients and their family members with post-procedure recommendations utilizing teach-back method, clarifying issues that our patients and their family members may require reinforcement. It is truly an honor and privilege to have Devon support the CCL staff.
