I wanted to recognize Ms. Pinto for her extraordinary bedside manner that she has consistently displayed during my visits. I was scheduled a 7 a.m. appointment with the WHC. While I was checking in, Ms. Pinto opened the door with a big smile and waited patiently for me to complete my check-in. when I finished, she greeted me and walked me to the exam room. I was seated in the exam room and my vitals were started. Ms. Pinto proceeded to explain to me what was going to occur during my visit and asked if I had any questions. When finished with my vitals, she accessed my record on the computer and started going through the standard questioning, all the while explaining some of the questions. Whenever I would ask a question, she would stop typing and look at me and answer my question before typing again. while I was waiting for my provider to come in, we started talking about kids and family and I soon realized we have a lot in common. We talked about the VA Voice and that everyone has a story! She expressed how much she loves working at the VA and that she loves her job. Ms. Pinto went above the call when I had to have assistance to unzip my dress, for my exam, due to my shoulder, as I have limited motion in my arms and she even came back when I had to zip it back up. I was so thankful as I was thinking how I was going to ask someone to help me. She was very helpful! This was my second visit with my WH PACT and Ms. Pinto has been the same at each visit. She is very pleasant and extremely helpful. When I came to Long Beach, I was going to use the private sector exclusively for my primary care needs, my husband asked me to give the WHC a chance, so I did. Since my experience has been great both visits, I am now exclusively going to use the WHC for all my primary care needs as the service is outstanding.

Whenever I have come to the Women's Clinic Ms. Pinto has been compassionate and kind. She goes out of her way to make sure I understand what is going on with my health and ways to improve my quality of life. She's considerate and sees that my questions are answered. I truly feel she has my best interest at heart, as when I speak with her, she counsels me as if she were a long-time friend. It is always a pleasure to see her.
