Jen literally helped save my life! I had a rough labor and delivery that ended in a postpartum hemorrhage. Jen took over my care about 45 min after delivery she told me that she would be doing 3 extra 15 min checks based on her assessment of my risk factors. On her 1st or 2nd extra check, she noticed that I was having abnormal bleeding and passing clots. She immediately sprang into action with all appropriate interventions while notifying the doctor. She did all appropriate interventions while reassuring me and taking care of my emotional need and pain at the same time. She did all nursing things with grace. I truly believe that her great nursing instincts, assessments skills, and rapport with the doctors saved my life. Although she was in an emergency situation she made sure to provide me with reassurance during the process and she knew that I was in pain and made sure this was addressed as well.
