Being a pastor and chaplain for a long time and being in numerous hospitals, I have seen and worked with many doctors and nurses. So, when I find someone as great as LaSonya Reed, something needs to be said.
During my wife's week-long stay in Fargo at the hospital, we both had the pleasure to be helped by LaSonya, she was superb! This form asks to illustrate a specific story that stands out. Well, there really isn't "One". What I mean is that her skills at nursing and helping/serving are exemplary. She should teach others how to "work" with people. Her overall attitude of friendliness and caring was so evident by her laughter, smile, and upbeat attitude. She answered my questions quickly and with confidence and accuracy. Her response to the "call light" was fast and when she arrived in the room she asked how she could help. No task was beneath her, even emptying the "hat" when she could have so easily assigned it to another. I also observed her behavior with others when she was the charge. Once again, she was upbeat, smiling and handling and treating people with respect and caring. I observed her willing to help others when asked. Thank you LaSonya- you are truly a standout!
