Cristina was super awesome. She was attentive and checked on us constantly during a stressful time in the NICU. She was hardworking and never missed a beat. Her blood draws and nursing assessments were done on time and conveniently. She was caring and asked often if we needed anything. She embodies everything the DAISY Award represents.
Cristina was compassionate from the time she started her night shift until the time she left. She assisted with breastfeeding and changing our baby even though we were in the room. She even made sure as a nursing Mom I had all of my meal vouchers at once, so I did not have to wait for them. She ensured I never ran out of supplies to pump my breast. In addition, I am a child psychiatry LSU fellow and I have not seen better care anywhere else.
