A recent patient to the Labor and Delivery unit was experiencing anxiety around her delivery. Nancy immediately comforted the patient and used her excellent nursing skills and bedside manner to earn the patient's trust and make the delivery a positive experience. By helping to reduce extra stimulation, Nancy gave herself selflessly to the patient and made sure the patient was comfortable. She helped the patient feel in control of her labor and gave the patient the delivery experience she desired.
