Earlier this year my brother had open heart surgery. The surgery went well; the post-op, not so good. Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong. During the next 6 weeks, not knowing what my brother's outcome would be, we experienced a very dark time in our lives.
During this time, we welcomed into our lives, Stacey Wolff and Kathryn Thompson, two of your employees. These two nurses were able to have my brother as their patient, one on the day shift and one on the night shift. They worked tirelessly to care for my brother, talking to him to explain whatever procedure they were doing even though he was intubated and not cognitively aware of what was occurring. They educated us on everything so that we were able to understand what was going on with my brother's treatment. They were kind, empathetic, professional, caring and patient. They possess superior nursing skills and always remained calm during emergency situations, many of which we experienced with them. We, meaning my brother's family and friends, cannot give enough praise for these two "angels", which is what they became to us.
In a world where negative comments come so easily, there are not enough positive comments we could make in behalf of Stacey Wolff and Kathryn Thompson. Their integrity, their competence, their ease in caring for very critically ill people, they are an asset to your company and they represent you well. They will forever be in our lives.
