My father is having Open Heart Surgery today. He is a 74-year-old man who has been relatively healthy his entire life. Recently he has had some dizziness and not feeling well and was determined to need triple bypass surgery with valve replacement. I came with daddy yesterday for his pre-op and Beth was his nurse. Daddy was quite nervous, but as always trying to be brave. Beth was so comforting and knew all the right things to say to keep his mind at ease. She was not only very through with the medical questions, but if there was any question or discrepancy, she called the other providers office to ensure that his medical record was up to date. This made daddy feel like he was in good hands at The Medical Center.
So many with heart problems feel like they need to be in Nashville for care, but Beth was the start to letting us know we had made the right decision by choosing The Medical Center for his care. Beth was also so kind. She assured him that he had made the right choice by coming here and that he was in excellent hands. She was patient, daddy has not been sick and had questions. She took her time to answer each question. Beth was just an angel that was sent to us to keep our minds at ease. She made a lasting impression. It was so important that my daddy was calm, and his mind was at ease. She had a big hand in this.
