There are not enough words to describe how amazing Ally is. She's one of the biggest team players we have. She often does not realize how amazing she is and how much she does to help her fellow nurses. We had a patient that had been through a lot, the patient had been transferred from another BayCare hospital and we received her from ICU. The family and patient were very difficult at times, and on Saturday requested to be transferred back to the other BayCare hospital.
Ally was the nurse that day and made over 20 phone calls to make the transfer happen for the patient. Her making these calls allowed the patient's nurse the chance to focus on patient care. In the end, they were able to get the patient transferred back and she was finally able to see her newborn twins. This is just one example of the many things she does on a daily basis. We are so lucky to have her in our unit.
