Lauren did an excellent job caring for a mutual patient. Our patient had some unforeseen complications requiring off unit testing, care outside her usual specialty and transfer to the OR emergently. Lauren remained calm and provided excellent nursing care. She kept me updated to any changes in the patient's status. Lauren handled the patient's family with great care and helped comfort them in their time of crisis. Her management of the patient was excellent and she displayed great care, compassion, and expertise.

Lauren's patient had a dog who had been alone for the duration of the patient's admission. The patient did not have any phone numbers of anyone she knew, so Lauren looked up her neighbor in the white pages and called the patient's neighbor. The neighbor was able to go let out the dog and feed it for the patient. The patient was so worried for her dog and Lauren made sure everything was handled.
