My brother who has special needs experienced a setback and returned to Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park. He spent most of his stay on the 5th floor where we had the opportunity to meet nurse, Debbi Allmond.
Debbi's sincere nature and excellent care for my brother were so key to my brother's recovery. She checked on him whether I was there or not, Debbi took such a liking to him that she would look in on him, chat with him and made him feel comfortable since he didn't have many visitors by day. One evening when I came to see my brother, Debbi told me she would like to take him home with her, wow, what a lucky guy!
My brother was discharged today after many, many weeks of care from Debbi and her team members. I will sincerely miss visiting the fantastic staff on the 5th floor.
