Well, the score was hospital 1, new parents 0. It was the final quarter with seconds left in the game. Baby M was losing weight each day, mom and Momma desperately dedicated to making breastfeeding happen. All hope was fading fast and the neigh sayers were getting louder when all of a sudden "a ringer" walked in the room and changed the whole outcome of the game. To Miss Lindsey, we owe all of our appreciation. Thank you for walking into our room that morning with a smile on your face and inspiration in your heart. You gave us strategies and hope that we could breastfeed our baby sustainably. You did no charting in front of us. YOU WERE PRESENT!! You heard our concerns, you worked WITH US, and guided our efforts. We appreciate you for advocating for donor breast milk and you even followed up with us the next day to ensure we were in the best possible position to succeed at home. Your time and patience will never be forgotten. Priceless. Thank you.
