Jeff went more than above and beyond in caring for a patient. One of our own EVS who got sick. Jeff went out of his way to sacrifice his time to take care of the patient's pets at home for months while she was in the hospital. He took time to cater to all her needs even upon discharge. Since the patient couldn't take care of herself (she lives alone), Jeff went out of his way to care of her, take her to MD appointments, ran errands for her, and set up things for her health care needs.
Jeff was very patient all the way. He works nights and he sacrificed his time and sleep just to take care of this patient. This is true compassion and going above and beyond. Up to now, he continues to check on the patient to make sure all her needs are taken care of.
