Michelle was my mom's wonderful nurse when she was knocking on death's door. Michelle not only took excellent care of our very much loved one, but she took care of the family as well. That was no easy task because I and a couple of others are in the medical field and were a little demanding, but Michelle understood that. She not only nursed my mom back to health with the help of other medical staff, but she made a point to include the rest of the family, letting us know everything that she knew and gaining our trust in her and the others.
Michelle is a very compassionate person and we see it reflecting out of her work. She recognizes the needs of her patient and their family and reaches out a warm compassionate touch to those around her. It really touched my mom and us that when mom was doing better, Michelle pulled up a chair and had a long conversation about the seven days she was out.

We cannot thank you enough for giving us more time with mom. She will get to see her 60th birthday in September. Writing this with a ton of love!
Note: This is Michelle's 2nd DAISY Award!
