For the past five years, Lisa has been a steadfast leader for nursing. She created an environment of compassion, respect, trust and professional development. She motivated and guided us to develop a Shared Governance Model, Unit-Based Councils and Professional Practice Council as a few examples. She challenged us to think outside of the box. She had the vision and enthusiasm to achieve the best outcomes for our patients, families, and staff.
She was always available and responsive to the needs of others, whether personal or professional. She encouraged critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork and she ensured we had the tools to accomplish them. She is a passionate nurse and during her tenure as our CNO, she has enhanced the image of nursing within the organization and our community.
