Stephanie is an exceptional representative of the nursing profession. She is dedicated to her work, she is passionate about nurses, and she is eager to provide the best care and experience for our patients. Stephanie serves as our Clinical Charge Nurse, a mentor, preceptor, and unit council member. The best leaders are involved, and they lead by example. Stephanie does just that! She is a DAISY Nurse for her extraordinary heart for nursing!

It was my first day in a hospital where I knew no one. Being an international student on spring break, I also didn't have any family to be with me. From the moment Stephanie set foot in my room, she made me a priority. She made sure I was eating, resting and entertained. Furthermore, she took the time that wasn't required to get to know about me and my family. At no point did I feel as though she was a bother but rather, sun in a frustrating situation for me, so grateful for her dovelike care in the nursing trenches. Even on the days where she wasn't my nurse, she still felt like my nurse because she still checked up on me and promised to do whatever in her power for me. As a pre-med major with a desire to go into medicine, it deepened my awe for nurses as part of the caregiving team. When I think of a face for care it will always be Stephanie!
