Jessica was the nurse who was with me during my delivery and when things went south, she was the one who took control of the situation and made all the best decisions - and very quickly. Not only do I give her credit for saving my life (by knowing what was going on and knowing that the doctor needed to be called back to the room immediately) but she stayed with me the whole time and made me feel so safe. Every time I would start to panic she would do whatever she had to do to calm me down. She was with me when I went to surgery and was right there by my side when I woke up. I asked her not to leave me and she followed through and made my awful experience doable. She continued to check on me multiple times during my stay after everything happened. She's truly the most caring, most amazing woman and I am so beyond lucky that the morning that my son made his rough entrance into the world that she was the nurse who walked through the door and stood by my side through the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life.

Jessica was my daughter's labor and delivery nurse. While most baby deliveries are exciting, happy and beautiful - my daughter had another experience. After delivering her perfect baby boy (with more hair than Elvis), my daughter started hemorrhaging. I stood by my daughter holding her hand as her lips turned blue and her fingertips a pale purple. Jessica was the nurse who discovered what was happening and without hesitation snapped into action. While I was trapped inside a mother's worse nightmare, she (without stopping what she was doing) would instinctively shoot me a reassuring look. My daughter was rushed into surgery and Jessica never left her side. She stayed with her throughout the entire process. My daughter said that although she knew that I could not be with her, Jessica gave her the same comfort as if I had been there. We almost lost my daughter, my beautiful, healthy daughter. I truly believe that if Jessica had not jumped into action when she did, we would have a much different outcome. I can't thank her enough for not only saving my child but caring enough to hold her hand and stroke her hair in a time when I was unable to be there. I am forever in her debt.
