Melissa is a very compassionate nurse and an amazing role model. Her respectfulness towards her peers, our patients, and their families makes her shine. She takes the time to ensure that her peers are doing okay, even when she is not in the charge role. No matter how difficult of a day she is having, she is always positive and sets the tone for those around her.
Melissa is a strong and caring leader. In the charge RN role, she has developed a comprehensive outline of the role and tasks. She is excited to develop other nurses in this role, often asking to precept them and then continues to encourage and mentor them. Melissa cares deeply for her peers and is an ongoing support system and cheerleader for their growth in their nursing world. 5NE is very fortunate to have Melissa as a member of our team.
