During my stay, Destiny cared for me on two separate occasions lasting 12 hours each, to include my initial admission. I was there for alcohol withdrawal and seizure watch. Destiny was professional, courteous, patient, and very compassionate with me at the moments of my outward irritation while withdrawing. Destiny at other times was enthusiastic to respond to my many requests. I made many attempts to be positive and humorous because of her kindness and she responded with smiles, laughter, and understanding.
Destiny explained all actions of my care clearly and in a way that I could understand while I was withdrawing. I have been through a withdraw in the past from alcohol and it can be miserable. I felt as though Destiny went well beyond any experience that I have had to relieve my stress, fear of seizure and all pain and discomfort I was experiencing. At other points during my stay, I noticed that Destiny was extremely busy, yet I never saw her without a smile, compassion and a friendly attitude. My care during my stay I felt was great, including the care that I received from the other nurses and doctors. I wish to nominate Destiny because her particular respect and care for me made my overall experience meaningful and most definitely extraordinary. It is quite obvious that Destiny performs to this level naturally.
