Nurse Betty went above and beyond taking care of my mom by providing outstanding care. She listened to my mom's wants and needs quickly. She was the most patient-centered nurse we encountered. I love her famous phrase, "We have the time, there ain't no fire". She explained all medications and procedures, which helped decrease my mom's anxiety. She never became annoyed with my endless questions as this experience was not only hard on my mom but me as well. Nurse Betty has a personality that allows her to make positive connections with her patients and families of patients. A strong attribute Betty has is that she knows the hospital employees work as a team for the best interest of the patients. She verbally thanked her team members and she also gave a team member an "Atta a Boy" thank you card that hospital staff can give to other staff members. Nurse Betty has a heart for all people!
