Becky Ng, RN is described by the family of one of her patients as: "..an extraordinary nurse" and one who "exemplifies all the characteristics of a caring and professional nurse." The family members of this patient were so moved by Becky's many contributions to the care of the patient as well as the entire family that they took the time to document these contributions in a letter. The daughter says that one day she was so concerned about her father that she spent much of the day crying in his room. Becky sat down with her and discussed her fears and feelings and she felt a sense of true empathy and support from her.

In the final paragraph of the letter, the daughter wrote:

"Unfortunately, my father's disease has caused him to have to be in the hospital a lot lately. We have seen many great nurses during his many stays. With that said, Becky stood out! She is truly the definition of a nurse that not only knows what she is doing but that deeply cares about her patient's health and comfort. She not only cares for her patients but for the family as well. We felt my father was safe and cared for when she was his nurse."
