I have been in the hospital much longer than expected. One night after days, weeks of frustration, I was at the end of my sanity pretty much. Anxiety, fear, pain, etc were running rampant through my mind and body. Grace went well beyond the call of duty. She listened to one nasty, hurt, scared, foul mouth, cursing the world, patient. She responded with her name sake, offering good advice, listening, and compassion. She could have easily done her "job" and went on with her night. Her advice for helping me mentally to help my physical healing is something I will carry with me long after I'm finally discharged from the hospital. I needed an angel that night to listen, care and just be there watching over. I had one sit with me through one of the toughest nights of my life. Thank you Grace.
Grace went out of her way to come visit/talk to me even when she wasn't my assigned nurse. She always has a smile on her face and has a great personality. She was by far my favorite nurse on my stay.
